I feel icky

This is because I think that my photo sharing account was hacked into. I logged into my account last night to find that half of my images were gone, and they were replaced by a single picture of some shirtless male model that I didn't recognize.

Now I know that of all accounts to be compromised, a photo share is probably one of the least sensitive as far as personal information. Most of what I lost I also have somewhere else, so nothing is exactly gone forever. It it still makes me feel a little icky and violated though, KWIM? If that account can be hacked, so can others. Is anything out here really safe?

Birthday Fun

Peyton turned 2 last Sunday (can you believe it already?). We didn't have anything really planned to do because, well, she is only 2 and wouldn't know the difference. But what we did do ended up being stretched over half of a week. We were planning to have lunch at Pizza Hut, do some water play in the backyard, open presents, and have cake on the big day, but between missed naps and a misbehaving little girl, the celebration ended up being days of fun.

A bit of a milestone

Riley had her first "real" dentist appointment today. I say "real" because she had been a couple of times before, and the assistant has looked at her teeth, counted them to make it more fun, and cleaned them to the best of his ability with her wiggling about.

But today was different. She was so good and acted so grown up, it was amazing. She was so still when he put the heavy apron on her and made her bite down on those oh-so-uncomfortable mouth inserts while he took x-rays of her teeth. She was as cooperative as any adult while he cleaned her teeth and applied flouride treatment. And when we had to wait for what seemed like an eternity for the assistant to get the dentist to check her teeth, she didn't complain. She didn't ask to get out of the chair. She didn't ask how much longer it would be.

I was so proud, and just a little sad. My girl is growing up.

Oh, and no cavities. Yay!

Here I am!

Well, here I am, in the blogging world! I've been toying with the idea of starting one of these for quite awhile. I love the idea of giving my friends and family a way to keep up with what is going on in our crazy life.

Since I've been playing with this for quite awhile tonight, that's all for now.
